To Read or Not To Read: My 2022 Challenge

Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a fun and safe New Years Eve. It is finally 2022 and unlike last year, I have a good feeling about this one. I’m feeling pretty ambitious with my reading. Which is why I am bringing back my To Read or Not To Read Challenge.

For those without context, back in 2020, I created this little challenge for myself, where I aim to read all the books on my physical tbr, and it worked out pretty well. Out of 67 books, I read 12 books and donated 22 books, which really help bring my physical tbr pile down. So this year I am going to do the same thing. As always I am not going to include any books that I borrowed from my mother, non-fiction, classics, ebooks or any sequels to books I have yet to start. With all that said, let’s get into it!

Seeing as two years ago, I had 67 books on my tbr, having 54 books right now is pretty good, especially if you consider I only bought 21 books in two years and I didn’t surpass my original 67. As always, I am going to prioritize the books that have been on my shelves the longest. Every title that has an * beside it means if I don’t get to it 2022, then I will automatically donate it. Here’s hoping I can knock a whole bunch of these books off my tbr pile.
